Last year, I took my fair share of belly photos during my pregnancy. Instagram makes it too easy!
There’s a piece of me that was like, “What are you doing? It’s just a belly. Get over it you narcissist!”
…And then there’s the other side of me that wanted to celebrate being the carrier of life for 9 months, for enjoying the changes and taking them all in, good and bad.
Now that I am literally at the point where it’s been nine months since I’ve had a baby in my belly, I can look back without a single regret of my documentation.
I’m just glad I had the energy to run back and forth to the self timer to do self-portraits in my studio during my third trimester! 🙂
