Little Lola had arrived 8 and 1/2 weeks early into this world. One of the teeny-tiny-ist babies I’ve ever seen. I mean, look at the size of mommy’s hand next to her sweet head …and that pacifier looks like a joke. It’s fun to giggle about it now, but back then, it was pretty scary to have her arrive so early.
But, now, fast forward 365 days….
Happy 1st Birthday, Lola!
Lola’s birthday was also a great chance to capture the whole family.
Since I’ve known Joe and Kendra, it was always my hope that our sons would become best buds. I never knew that they would be such special friends to me. I truly love this family.
So far, in our short friendship, I’ve seen much love from this family.
They love each other deeply by being great parents and spouses. They love their family and friends with willingness and respect. They care for others.
Joe is one of those dads that knows how to love his kids. He not only provides for his family by being a hard worker but also invests in their lives. A dad that REALLY cares and takes an active role in parenting.
Kendra is my playdate friend. We take our kids out to the park and trade parenting stories. As a mom of two young children, my friendship with Kendra has been something that keeps me sane. But she’s more than just that. Because she’s a genuine, loving person, our conversations can always go deeper than just nap schedules and potty training. I’ve learned alot from Kendra. She’s a great mom, wife, and friend.
Thank you, Joe, Kendra, Maddox and Lola. Words truly cannot express how honored I’ve been to be a part of your lives these past few years.
These pictures are beautiful and this melted my heart. Thank you for posting this. -Annie
