They met 4 years ago at the hospital while waiting for the birth of Heather’s nephew, a couple weeks later they went out on their ‘first-first’ date. Later on, they dubbed their official first date to be October of the next year at the Old Rock House. A lot of love and a few years later, Steve proposed. Almost exactly three years after their “Official Date” they celebrated their love and commitment by saying, “I do.”
What a beautiful day it was. The fall weather could not have been more perfect. The backdrop of the Rocking J Ranch was ideal for a wedding full of elegance as well as down-home fun. Heather showered each family member and wedding attendant with heartfelt gifts. Steve gave Heather a beautiful pre-wedding gift from Tiffany’s and enjoyed his morning with
his super supportive best man.
After that, they got to see each other for the first time that afternoon and the rest of the day was magic. With the most vibrant wedding officiant, wonderful live guitar music, hay bales and jeweled bouquets, the ceremony was one of sweet country love.
The party continued through the night at the wonderful barn reception. Heather made sure that there was no detail that went unnoticed. She put so much time, thought, and effort into a wonderful celebration. Everyone had a blast. There were games of beer pong and bean bag tosses. Lots and lots (and lots!) of desserts. We even turned on the Cardinals game and cheered them on amidst the dancing, toasts, and singing.
So, without any more gabbing, I will let you enjoy the photos that tell the story of Heather and Steve’s perfect wedding day.
