My life would be nothing without these guys. Nothing.
And if I don’t get my photo fix of them every once in a while I go a little mad. So here’s a few things that have been happening around the Harris House these days.
These boys like to eat cold FROZEN waffles. It’s the strangest thing ever. Of course it started when each were teething but it just continued on from there. I never understood it when an 18-month-old Roman asked for “Waffle?! Cold!”and I still don’t get it 2 years later.
I’m really enjoying seeing these two become buddies. Sure, it’s still 90% screaming and fighting because Roman grabbed a toy from Milo but that 10% warms my heart and gives me hope for a future where they are good pals.
It’s not even Halloween yet and we’ve found a couple of reasons to go out and dress up in their costumes. You figure you pay enough for those things, you might as well show ’em off right?
(I should tell you, Roman’s “knight costume” came to a total of $4 at the dollar store. -YES!- So when I wanted to find the perfect dragon costume for Milo, I felt justified in paying a good amount for it!)
This year, Westport Plaza had a halloween parade. Which means you get to Trick or Treat from the local vendors. It was fun….
…but somtimes I think a little overwhelming and slightly creepy for my little guys.
Just taking it all in….
And Roman and I did the pumpkin carving thing.
I know, the barfing pumpkin has been done.
But not with THIS 3-year-old.
Little boys + yucky and gross = fun
Dad, on the other hand, just shook his head when he saw what I had done.
Oh well, you can’t please everyone.
And of course, just like everyone else, I want fall photos of my family.
Here’s to a happy fall!
First I have to say… that I looove the names you gave your boys. And second… what adorable little boys you have!!! And I am so glad I am not the only mom of boys who enjoys the gross things boys bring to the table… and my husband too has shaken his head a time or two because of something we have done. He He He
Great fall pictures too!! ♥
Donna, I always love reading your “personal” posts. It makes me realize I need to make getting my girls in front of the camera a higher priority. Darling “Fall” pictures of your beautiful boys.
