2nd Shooting with [ b ] | Gary and Brooke’s Big Day

Last Saturday, I had the fantastic opportunity to second shoot with Becker. Honestly, words cannot express how fortunate I felt to be alongside such a talented photographer. While Google will tell you that Becker is “an internationally acclaimed wedding photographer from California and co-founder of The [ b ] School“,  he’s much more than that. He is also a passionate person. When it comes to anything in his life… photography, sports, traveling, poker, family, business…oh, and bacon. You can’t forget bacon. 🙂

I enjoyed being in his presence even for a short while and was so appreciative of his good natured sprit, his willing attitude to share his knowledge, and his smart sense of humor. Thanks, [ b ] for having me along for the day!

Gary and Brooke’s fairy tale wedding came ready with a fantasy horse and carriage and a castle-like church, St. Francis Xavier.

Brooke spent her morning at the church writing a love letter to her groom and sending it to him along with a gift.  After tying the knot, they traveled to all the popular St. Louis spots but especially Busch Stadium which holds a special place in Brooke’s heart as a former Team Fredbird Member. While on the field, she and her bridesmaids even did a “t-shirt sling toss” with a bouquet into the stands.

The evening’s destination at the Ameristar Casino made for a uniquely fun reception equipped with a candy bar, entertaining toasts from family and friends, and  -as partying ensued – White Castles (of course!).
